Articade had always been deeply intrigued by the Secret Hitler board game—not just as a game, but as a concept. The psychology, the tension, the social deduction, and the way a single lie could shift an entire room fascinated him.

Eventually, he introduced the game to his longtime real-life best friend, BoomSquad.

Both were instantly hooked. 🎯

What started as casual gameplay quickly turned into something more:"Why doesn't this exist properly on Discord?" At the time, options were limited, clunky, or unreliable. The experience just didn't translate well online.

⚡ The First Spark

While searching for solutions, Articade discovered a barebones implementation of Secret Hitler created by DuckCoolBoy on GitHub. It was simple, rough around the edges—but it worked.

Articade ran the bot with friends.

That was the moment Articade realized something important:
This could be great.
Not just playable—but immersive, automated, secure, and scalable.

🔧 From Barebones to Vision

Over the following months, Articade began rebuilding and expanding the bot:

• ✅ Improving game flow
• ✅ Fixing edge cases
• ✅ Enhancing secrecy
• ✅ Tightening rule enforcement
• ✅ Making the experience smoother and more intuitive

But passion projects have a cost. 💔

After months of intense development, Articade hit burnout and stepped away. The project went quiet—not abandoned, but paused.

🚀 The Comeback

Six months later, everything changed.

BoomSquad—who had believed in the project from the beginning—stepped in and reignited the vision. He didn't just encourage Articade to continue. He joined him.

From that point forward, Secret Hitler Prime stopped being a solo project.

BoomSquad became a co-owner, and not just in title. He contributed direction, feedback, testing, decision-making, and momentum. His involvement shaped the project in fundamental ways, carrying at least half—if not more—of the weight required to transform the bot into what it is today.

Although Articade laid the foundation, Secret Hitler Prime would not exist in its current form without BoomSquad's contribution.

Ownership wasn't given.
It was earned. 🏆

Together, Articade and BoomSquad rebuilt the project from the ground up with a single goal:
